Customer Service or Service Person

Our branch in Hastings are looking for a Customer Service and a Service Person to join the team.
If you either enjoy working with tools and machinery or know you can provide great customer service experience, and also you have the ability to build positive ongoing working relationships, then we'd love to hear from you!
Our Service Person primarily helps ensure our equipment is fit for hire (a really important part of what we do!) while our Customer Service will primarily provide advice and support to customers over the phone and in-branch on what equipment is right for their project. Both roles will often help demonstrate the safe use of our gear to our customers. There will also be other occasions when each role is required to help out in areas of the branch like servicing, answering phones or doing deliveries.
Don't worry if haven't got any prior industry experience; we'll support your training and development on the job. All we ask is that you have a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player who's happy to pitch in wherever required.
What you need:
- Full Class 1 Driver's Licence (other Classes and Endorsements an advantage)
- Willingness and initiative to learn
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role would be highly desirable
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Happy to work on a rostered basis (our branch is open 6 days)
- A positive can-do attitude
