Trailer Technician

We are looking for a Trailer Technician to join our busy Auckland support workshop. This is a great opportunity for someone from an automotive or engineering background to move into an exciting and a fast paced industry.

You'll be reporting to and working closely with the Team Leader - Trailers as our go-to people for all our trailer repairs and maintenance.

A part of a small team within a large workshop you'll need to be good at managing your own workload and producing quality work in an acceptable timeframe.

What you'll do:

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on our trailer fleet
  • Keep accurate records of work done, stock used etc.
  • Assist the Team Leader in ensuring that trailers are repaired to the required standard and in line with preset timelines

What you need:

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information
  • Basic computer skills and good record management techniques
  • Previous mechanical or engineering experience is essential
  • A relevant trade qualification would be preferable but is not essential
  • Ability to work well in a team, with a 'can-do' attitude
