Our team in Bromley are looking for a Branch Mechanic/ Customer Service Person to join the team on a Permanent Full-Time basis. To support the effective operation of the branch and meet customer demands, we are looking for a multiskilled team member that is capable of working across both customer service and mechanical tasks.

You will be either trade-qualified or have significant relevant experience to work on a variety of hire items (both Petrol and Diesel). You will also be someone that is great with people and have the ability to build positive ongoing relationships with both internal and external customers. You'll need a confident phone manner to field queries and provide advice and also be willing to help out your team in the branch or doing deliveries and pick ups.

It's a busy role with a fluctuating schedule of work so no two days are the same - it's a great opportunity to learn new skills and develop your existing product knowledge. There's always a lot going on in the branch so you need to be prepared to help out your team with whatever gets the job done.

What you'll do:

• Repair and maintenance of a wide variety of hire items
• Attend breakdowns/scheduled maintenance on customer sites
• Answer phone queries and raise customer contracts
• Offer advice to customers on different tools and machinery

What you will need:

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (other Classes and Endorsements an advantage)
• A relevant trade qualification or significant job experience with both petrol and diesel plant
• Experience with serving and interacting with customers
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Happy to work on a rostered basis (our branch is open 6 days a week)
