Service Person (16hrs per week)

  • 16hrs per week - Saturday & Sunday
  • Great on the job training (gain endorsements for using forklifts, diggers, rollers & scissor lifts)
  • Free Staff Hire in our DIY fleet & 4% Employer Kiwisaver contribution (up to 6% based on length of service)

We are looking for a Part-Time Service Person to join our team in Whangarei to support across our two branches on the weekend. Someone who enjoys working with tools and machinery and has a keen interest in developing that knowledge into a career.

As a Service Person, you'll be helping to ensure our equipment is fit for hire (a really important part of what we do!). You'll also get to develop your existing skills and build up your knowledge on our wide range of hire equipment.

There's always a lot going on in the branch so you need to be prepared to help out your team with whatever gets the job done; helping customers, cleaning the yard or answering phones.

What you'll learn:

  • How to service a wide variety of hire plant
  • What tools and machinery are required for different jobs
  • Great customer service and sales experience
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices

What you need:

  • Full Class 1 Driver Licence (other Classes and Endorsements are an advantage)
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Availability to work both Saturday & Sunday
  • A positive can-do attitude
