Marquee and Events - Driver / Labourer

Being a Marquee and Events - Driver / Labourer at Continental Event Hire - a Hirepool business will see you supporting the team with delivering and collection of events equipment to our team at customers sites, as well as delivering and picking up directly to and from our customers. In addition, this role plays an integral function ‘back at base' ensuring that our events warehouse is kept organised and that our equipment is cleaned, checked, serviced and ready for hire.

It's a busy and a physical role, packed with variety as the team install marquees at everything from rock concerts and sporting festivals to private parties and corporate functions. You need to be great with people and happy to pitch in whenever required to get the job done.

What we need:

  • A high level of attention to detail with good time management skills.
  • An excellent team player as well as the ability to work on your own all with a ‘can-do' attitude
  • Good with your hands and ability to make basic equipment repairs as well as clean and maintain our hire items when needed
  • Basic Computer skills

What you need:

  • Class 2 Drivers Licence is essential and other Classes/Endorsements desirable
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends/late nights depending on the event

There may also be occasional requirements throughout the year when overnight and out of town work will be required
