ERP and Applications Specialist

  • Take the lead and ownership of our ERP (rental industry specific) application and become the subject matter expert

Hirepool has completed a 5-year digital & technology transformation, including a major ERP replacement. We are now seeking an ERP & Applications Specialist to help support and evolve our core business systems.

Reporting to the Head of IT, this hands-on role suits a proactive self-starter with a solid mix of technical and business skills. You will take ownership of our ERP and several other key applications, working closely with vendors and a small, dedicated IT team.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead upgrades, enhancements, and system integrations
  • Design, solution, and deliver new features/enhancements with vendor support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects/incidents
  • Plan future improvements and application integrations
  • Build deep knowledge of systems and processes to manage backlogs and priorities with support from our vendors and internal team
  • Become the go-to expert for ERP and related systems

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT (requirements, design, solutioning, implementation, product ownership)
  • Strong technical background, including SQL skills.
  • Proven business analysis experience showcased through project work including APIs
  • ERP expertise—preferably not just as a user, but as a system specialist
  • The ability to run requirement meetings, stakeholder management, vendor management, and manage User Acceptance Testing sessions.
  • Technical and process solutions experience with multiple stakeholders and vendors is necessary. So is API experience with web technologies.
  • MS Business Central experience will be an added advantage.
  • Agile mindset with attention to detail
  • Think for internal and external customers. Be service delivery oriented.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
  • Finance and accounting knowledge would be helpful.
