Access/EWP Field Service Technician

Across our business we have dedicated technicians who help ensure our hire plant is repaired and maintained to the highest standards. We are currently looking for an experienced Access/EWP Field Service Technician to join our dedicated Access Branch in Mt Wellington. We would also consider a suitably experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic with an earthmoving or material handling background looking to expand their skills for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Repair and maintenance of a wide variety of access equipment including scissor lifts, cherry pickers and boom lifts
  • Inspection and certification of our access equipment
  • Provide expert assistance to colleagues and customers both in our branches and on customer sites
  • Carry out planned maintenance and repairs in the workshop
  • Attend to breakdowns and complete scheduled maintenance on customer sites

What you need:

  • A mechanical trade qualification in Heavy Automotive Plant and Equipment or similar
  • Full Class 1 Driver Licence
  • An in depth understanding of Auto Electrical systems is a must and experience in 48V systems would be advantageous
  • High attention to detail and strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Having the CBIP1 or EWPA Registered inspector Programme (RIP) qualification would be highly advantageous, but we would support the right candidate to gain this

Job Details:

  • Monday - Friday Roster with some after hours and weekend work as required.
