We are looking well-rounded Access Mechanic/Technician to join our team to start a new project recertifying access equipment. This exciting new role will need attention to detail, a passion for self-satisfaction and a love of refurbishing plant. This is major inspection of access equipment from the ground up supplied from all over our network of branches within Hirepool; you'll be completely stripping the equipment, replacing any substandard parts, then reassembling to the highest of standards to ensure we give the best operational equipment to our customers.
What you'll do:
- Ensure all equipment and machinery meets company and manufacturers safety standards
- Maintain workshop and ensure all inventory is recorded and stored safely
- Work closely with our management team to ensure continuous improvement of processes and practices
- Attend repairs and breakdowns as may be required
What you need:
- A full driver licence (other Classes and Endorsements an advantage)
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of diagnosing faults - mechanical, electrical and hydraulic
- Relevant trade qualification or significant experience of mechanical and engineering practices
- Good computer skills
- Well organised and can prioritise workloads with attention to detail
