Customer/Service Person - Part-Time 9hrs (Saturday)
Our Rotorua team are looking for a part-time Customer/Service Person with either an understanding of or previous experience working with tools and machinery.
Your role will be to both help ensure our equipment is fit for hire and provide advice and support to customers over the phone and in-branch on what equipment is right for their project. We don't expect you to know everything on Day One - we'll ensure you receive all the training you need to be confident on our equipment and processes.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has a can-do attitude, is open to learning and can build positive ongoing customer relationships. It's also a small branch so you need to be prepared to help out the team whenever required.
What you'll do:
- Provide hire plant advice and support to customers from a variety of industries
- Carrying out all service checks in line with company safety policies
- Carefully instructing customers on the safe use of our equipment
What you need:
- Be able to work Saturdays
- Learners or Restricted Licence
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to be trained on our internal point of sale computer system
